The Registry appears to be very much understaffed (as to which more anon) with the result that book entries were not made with the punctuality which is essential and the work of supervision of the accounts was rendered doubly difficult by this.

There would appear to be no prospect of the recovery of any of the moneys due from the Auctioneering and Brokering Co., Ltd. The effects of the Company have been sold under a distraint and the Company has entirely ceased to carry on business.
